The agenda features Dr. Ralph Brown, Economic Analysts and Associates, Vermillion, USD professor emeritus and chief advisor to the Governor's Economic Advisory Council, offering an update of South Dakota and local economic projections, along with updates on financial, manufacturing and agriculture. Dr. Brown will also address the question "How dependent is South Dakota on the Federal Government?" Dr. Michael Morrisey, Professor of Health Economics and Health Insurance at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, Director of the Lister Hill Center for Health Policy, Co-Director of the Center for Outcomes and Effectiveness-Research and Education, and past Chief Economist for Healthcare, will address the economic impact of healthcare reform.
