Foundation Park to be State's First Megasite

The recent announcement about Foundation Park, the 820 acre industrial park, as South Dakota's first megasite is a testament to the teamwork and collaboration that exists to accomplish a project this size. The industrial park, formed in a partnership with the Governor's Office of Economic Development, the City of Sioux Falls, the Sioux Falls Development Foundation and Forward Sioux Fall,s will be a unique tool to use in business attraction and expansion for the Sioux Falls region that hasn't been available until now. The magnitude of the project required cooperation of all the economic development partners. It will satisfy the need for large projects that require transportation logistics. Foundation Park lies at the intersection of Interstates 90 and 29, and is just minutes from the Sioux Falls Regional Airport and is fully served by the BNSF railroad. The Park offers contiguous sites ranging from five acres to 390 acres.
