You're invited: State Chamber's Economic Outlook Seminar Nov. 12, 2015

The South Dakota Chamber of Commerce and Industry's Annual Economic Outlook Seminar has become the premier presentation for those wanting to understand the economic forces pushing South Dakota. The 2015 Economic Outlook will look at the state's economy in context with the national economy and preview what might be ahead for the state. The 2015 Economic Outlook will be held Thursday, Nov. 12, from 8:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at the Sioux Falls Convention Center, Exhibit Hall 1. The agenda includes: USD Economics Professor Mike Allgrunn will provide the annual State of the State's Economy Report; a Workforce Development Panel of area industry leaders will participate on a panel discussion on workforce issues; Build Dakota Board Chair Dana Dykhouse, CEO of First PREMIER Bank, will give an update on the Build Dakota Scholarship program; Scott Lawrence, President of Lawrence & Schiller, will talk about the South Dakota campaign to attract workforce to the state; and the luncheon speaker is Dr. J.D. Foster, Deputy Chief Economist at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. Event sponsors are: Avera Health, Sanford Health, First PREMIER Bank, Forward Sioux Falls and U.S. Bank.
